Schloss Wartin, regarded as one of the most beautiful mansions in the Uckermark, is the seat of the Foundation ‘Collegium Wartinum’. The Foundation is dedicated to preserving the spirit of academic and cultural activities, with a primary focus on the care of the Schloss, Garden, and Park. We invite universities and institutions to utilize the Schloss for seminars and events, and are open to hosting very special occasions such as weddings.
The small Foundation has put a lot of efforts supported by many institutions like Stiftung Denkmalschutz“ in restoring the Schloss, dating from 1698.
The project was honoured with the Heritage Award of the State of Brandenburg.
The parc and boxhedge garden are surrounded by a 4 m high bricks wall and forming an island of peace, thoughtfulness and beauty in a chaotic world.
